Charlie Hatter Music

Born in Liberty, Ky, October the 6th 1981

 

                                                                                                                                                          

 

  Charlie has been writing songs since the age of 13, however,  it was in the 4th grade when Charlie discovered that he had a way with words. Writing a poem for his assignment, the teacher was so much impressed with his work, she asked him to read it in front of the whole school. Later, inspired by his grandfather's ability to play guitar, Charlie picked up the guitar at 13 and learned his first chords. In the 9th grade history repeated itself, when Charlie was asked by his teacher to read another poem he had written in front of the school. His teacher encouraged him to pursue his passion of writing further. At the age of 16, Charlie began putting music with his lyrics and wrote his first song. He entered his song in a songwriting contest and finished 2nd place out of 1000 entries. From that point onward he decided to perfect his passion for songwriting. Encouragement from his community, family, and peers to take his songs to the next level, he decided to do just that. Charlie has a dream of getting his lyrics performed by an artist and being played on radio. He hopes to reach millions with his work and possibly even to change someones life with his soulful lyrics. When asked by the company with whom he entered the contest, “ Why do you want to be a songwriter? “ Charlie replied, “ I know in my heart and soul that is what I was born to do. “ Charlie resides in the small town of Walltown Kentucky, where he was raised, with his wife and their two daughters.
